Senior’s Health at Mooloolaba Surgery, we are dedicated to providing respectful, comprehensive, and proactive care to support the health and wellbeing of older adults in our community. As we age, our health needs often become more complex. Our experienced GPs are here to help seniors maintain independence, manage chronic conditions, and enjoy a high quality of life.
We offer a wide range of services tailored to seniors, including:
- Chronic disease management (such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, and COPD)
- Preventive health screenings and age-appropriate immunisations
- Medication reviews to ensure safe and effective treatment
- Cognitive assessments for memory concerns or early signs of dementia
- Falls risk assessment and mobility support
- Mental health support including for depression, anxiety, and social isolation
- Care planning and coordination for those requiring additional support, including referrals to allied health and specialist services
We also provide Home Medicines Reviews (HMRs) and GP Management Plans, which may be eligible for Medicare support and help connect patients with physiotherapists, podiatrists, dietitian, and more.
